Feedback in the classroom is one of the most important aspects of our teaching practice.

Click on the video below for a detailed description of the Thinking Thumbs system that I utilise with my students to give and receive feedback in a quick and visual way that my kids respond really well to!

Wanting to improve your reading efficiency is a great goal, especially with so much information to absorb these days! A good first step is to figure out your current baseline. You can easily do this with a Free Reading Speed Test online. These tests typically give you a passage to read and then calculate your words per minute (WPM) and sometimes your comprehension. Knowing your starting point helps you set realistic goals and track your progress as you practice techniques to read faster and more effectively. It's a simple but motivating tool to kickstart your reading improvement journey.
